Volunteer at the Indonesia VIQRC & V5RC National Championship 2026/2027!

Behind every great competition is an incredible team of volunteers. We're getting ready for the Indonesia VIQRC & V5RC National Championship on 23 January 2027 at Sinarmas World Academy, South Tangerang, and we'd love for you to be part of it!

This national championship brings together the best robotics teams from across Indonesia for a day of innovation, problem-solving, and teamwork. To make it all happen, we need enthusiastic, dedicated people like you.

Whether you're a robotics veteran, an educator, a parent, or simply someone who loves supporting the next generation, there's a role for you here!

Why volunteer?

As a volunteer, you will:

• Play a key role in running a nationally recognized STEM competition

• Work alongside students and mentors in an exciting, hands-on environment

• Connect with Indonesia's growing robotics and STEM community

• Witness inspiring teamwork and engineering from students at their very best

Available Volunteer Roles

Here are just a few ways you can help:

• Queuing – Line up teams and guide them to the field to keep matches on schedule

• Field Reset Crew – help students by quickly resetting the game field between matches

• Scorekeeper/Timer – keep track of scores and match time

• Team Check-In – welcome teams, assist with registration, and answer questions

• Judge – talk with students about their engineering notebooks and projects

• Referee – oversee matches and ensure fair play (training & certification available)

• Event Support – help with setup, cleanup, and keeping things running smoothly

Training & Certification

No experience? No problem! We'll provide all the training you need. For key roles like Referee or Judge, free online certification courses are available, and we'd love to support you through that process.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

The safety of all participants, volunteers, and staff is our top priority. In the event of an emergency or severe weather conditions, the following policies will be in effect.

Cancellation & Postponement

• If local authorities issue a severe weather warning or conditions pose a safety risk, the event may be canceled or postponed.
• In the event of an emergency (e.g., power outage, natural disaster), the event may similarly be canceled or postponed.
• If postponed, we will make every effort to reschedule as soon as possible. All participants will be notified promptly via email and official communication channels.

Safety Protocols

• An emergency evacuation plan is in place. In the event of an evacuation, all participants will be guided to a designated safe location by event staff.
• First aid kits will be available on-site. In the event of a medical emergency, please notify a staff member immediately.

Refund and Payment Policies

Please review the following refund policy carefully before completing your registration.

Event Cancellation by Organizer

In the unlikely event that the organiser cancels the event, registration fees are non-refundable. We will make every effort to communicate cancellations as early as possible through email and official channels.

Withdrawal by Coach/Mentor/Team

Registration fees are non-refundable in the event of voluntary withdrawal or non-attendance, regardless of the reason.

By completing registration, you acknowledge and agree to this refund policy.

Judging Format

Team interviews will be conducted online prior to the competition. Engineering Notebooks will be judged in person on the day of the event. Teams must bring a physical copy of their Engineering Notebook for submission to the judges. If your notebook is maintained digitally, please print it prior to submission.
