General Info

The VEX V5 Lake Effect League is hosted at Elyria High School in our ImaginEeing Hub Makerspace.

There is no room for spectators at this event space.

We will host 4 Events with final dates TBD - 1 in November, December, January, and February. 

Our goal is to provide a competitive and enjoyable tournament experience. The event will feature 2 competition fields and 1 skills field.

A concession stand with pizza will be available for students.

Agenda

3:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Doors open, team pit setup, and robot inspection begin.

4:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Practice fields open and opening remarks.

4:30 PM – 7:30 PM: Qualification matches (Each team runs approximately 4 to 5 matches).

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If the event needs to be canceled due to extreme weather, you will be notified via the phone number provided during registration.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: a full refund or credit will be offered.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: no refund will be offered. 

 

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
