Welcome to the JROTC National Championship at the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, Ohio!
We are excited to bring JROTC teams from across the country together for an unforgettable championship experience filled with competition, teamwork, leadership, and innovation. Set inside one of the most inspiring aviation and military history venues in the nation, this event gives cadets the opportunity to showcase their skills, represent their schools and programs, and compete on a national stage.
Throughout the event, teams can expect high-energy matches, Robot Skills opportunities, judging, teamwork, and a celebration of the dedication they have shown all season. Cadets will compete alongside some of the top JROTC robotics teams in the country while experiencing the pride, tradition, and excellence that make this championship so special.
Whether this is your team’s first national championship or a return to the national stage, we are thrilled to welcome you to Dayton for a weekend of competition, connection, and memories that will last long after the final match.
Qualifying teams will advance to the VEX Robotics World Championship!

**All teams will experience at least eight (8) Qualifying Matches each.
Volunteer
Be a part of the excitement by joining the team of volunteers who will help in a variety of ways to make this event a success for the students involved! You can register for an entire day or just a portion of the day, as your schedule permits, for most positions.
Lunch is included for all full-day volunteers.

Teams will be notified, via email, if any event occurs that would jeopardize the JROTC National Championship
Refund and Payment Policies
Refund Policy:
Regardless of whether the Event Partner or the Team cancels, registration fees will NOT be refunded.
Judging Format
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions
- Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact.
- The notebook submission deadline: To be announced
- In Person Team Interviews:
- Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event.
- All teams will have the opportunity to be interviewed at least once. Some teams may receive second interviews if the Judges need additional information.
Judges will be working in accordance with the Judge Guide, which states that "All teams being judged for an event should be judged in the same format to ensure consistency in the judging experience."
