General Info
Teams 301 and 4009 are proud to host the Seaplane City Showdown - VEX IQ Full Volume tournament at Tavares High School in Tavares, FL.
The tournament is an Middle School tournament only. Specific award winners will qualify for the State championship. This will include a teamwork championship, skills challenge and judging. We are also hosting Elementary Schools that day, so we may have to combine the events if registration is low.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
This event will only be postponed due to extreme weather condition and district policies.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
You will receive a refund for the event, minus any REFC fees.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
You will not be issued a refund. If payment is not received by the deadline, your team(s) will be moved to the waitlist to provide other teams the opportunity.
Judging Format
Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply.
- All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
