* Each team will be allowed 3 attempts for Driving Skills and 3 attempts for Programming Skills. 

** Judging will include judging for the Excellence Award and the Design Award. If you want to be eligible for judging, the team's Engineering Notebook will need to be turned in at inspection.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

We understand that, especially for those teams coming from Northern Utah, the roads can be dangerous if winter storms impact the I-15 corridor--particularly over mountain passes. We do not want teams taking unnecessary risks to get to our event.

If you make the decision not to travel due to weather, please notify us at the earliest opportunity. Refunds for weather-related reasons will be issued (less the $5 RECF fee) as long as notification is given prior to the event.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event refunds will be given minus the $5 non-refundable Robot Events fee. 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: If a Coach/Mentor withdrawals they will be refunded on a case by case basis minus the $5 fee.  If a team does not attend, no refund will be given. 

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges
