General Info
Thank you for registering for the VEXIQ Gold Coast Elementary League at Pine Crest School Boca Raton Campus. We are happy to have your team compete with and learn along with us! Here are a few important things to know about our League.

We will meet 4 times on the dates listed below, and each competition will run from 8:30 AM - 11:15 AM. Our League dates are:
- October 25, 2025
- December 13, 2025
- January 24, 2026
- February 21, 2026
- During each of our four League Events, teams will have the opportunity to participate in 3 driver control and 3 autonomous runs, as well as 2-3 teamwork challenge matches.
- Team interviews will take place the week before the fourth event (2/21/26), with notebooks due digitally by midnight on 2/13/26. Notebooks must be submitted following the instructions on RobotEvents.
- Teamwork finals and awards will take place during the last event, it will likely run a bit long and we will give you a heads-up.
- Expect an email the week before each event with updates and reminders for you and your team.
- This league is for team members and coaches only, our space is limited and doesn’t accommodate audience members. Parents can drop off students at 8:30 AM and pick them up at 11:15 AM.

Volunteer
We need volunteers to serve as scorekeepers and queue managers as well as 18+ volunteers to help with judging during the week before and on our 3rd Session on January 24, 2026. We are asking each school / organization to commit at least one adult volunteer to help with judging notebooks and conducting team interviews. Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If bad weather is predicted before the event, coaches will be contacted and the event will be rescheduled.
If bad weather occurs during the event, we will follow Pine Crest School's Security Guidelines to seek shelter, depending on the weather event.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event a full refund will be repaid, minus the $5 fee charged by the REF Foundation.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend a refund will be sent if the team withdraws 4 weeks or more from the first competition date.
If a team does not pay by the set deadline (10/11/25) they will be moved to the waitlist to give another team a chance to participate.
Judging Format
- All Remote Judging - The Initial Team Interviews will be conducted remotely, and Engineering Notebooks will be submitted to judges digitally via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. Initial Interviews and Notebook submission deadlines may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
