General Info
The Rock Spring Elementary School is excited to host this VEX IQ tournament. Students and attendees are sure to have a fun-filled day of robotics competition and we look forward to seeing all of the teams shine!
All participants are expected to complete the participant release form . (also available in Spanish) Once per season covers all events.

Agenda
8:30am-9:00am - Check-In/Registration/Inspection
(NOTE: All teams must be through inspection by 9:00am)
8:45am - 9:45am- Fields Open for Skills Challenges
(NOTE: Each team will be able to run a maximum of 3 robot (driver) skills challenges and 3 programming challenges. 4 fields will be available for Skills Challenge attempts from 8:45-9:45am, but only 1 field will be open for skills challenges from 10:05-11:00 am. Teams should attempt to finish most of their skills challenges before 9:45am as the tournament schedule will run quickly and there will not be much time in between matches to fit more in. The Skills Field will close at 11:00am.
9:45-10:00 - Drivers Meeting & Welcome
10:05-11:20am - Qualification Rounds - Use the Qualifying Match number not the time on the papers. We will be calling and queuing based on the Qualifying Match number that are running. We will be queuing one match ahead so just have teams keep track of what Qualifying matches they are in.
8:45-9:45, 10:05-11:00 - Skills Field Open
11:20 Finals - Finals and 11:40am Awards

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Teams will be notified as early as possible if it is determined that bad weather will cause a change in event-day plans. In the event of a cancellation, every effort will be made to reschedule for a later date. If teams are not able to attend the rescheduled date, entry fee refunds will be issued.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Refunds will not be issued, unless the event is rescheduled because of a weather-related event. In that case, refunds will be issued to teams that are unable to attend the new (rescheduled) date.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Refunds can be issued after the event in the cases that Coach/Mentors notify before the event.

We will not be hosting a webcast of this event.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
