Hudsonville Robotics Mix & Match ES League

Thank you for your interest in the VIQRC Elementary School Mix & Match League hosted by Hudsonville Robotics!  

Leagues are a great opportunity for teams to gain competition experience before entering full day tournaments. They will compete every other week in at least 17 matches. This gives them time improve their robot between sessions.

Facility - The competition will be hosted in the East Gym of Hudsonville High School conveniently located one mile north of I-196 just west of Grand Rapids, Mi. Ample parking is available on campus and there are also plenty of resturants and retail locations in the area.  

Competition - Teams will have robot inspection and participate in five qualification matches at the first three sessions. The final session will have robot inspection, skills, two qualification rounds, Teamwork Challenge, and Awards.  We will be following the rules in the latest release of the VEX Robotics Competition – Game Manual. 

Pits - 6-foot tables, two chairs, electrical outlet, and public WIFI will be provided. We encourage teams to bring a plug strip. 

Registration - All participating teams must be registered with VEX Robotics and the Robot Events website and have an official team number before registering for this event. Tournament fees must be paid before teams are allowed to compete. Registration and payments should be made through the Robot Events website.
