Volunteer
SOROCO Robotics typically does not require attending teams to bring volunteers. We do however need judges not affiliated with Moffat County so if you would like to volunteer as a judge or in any other capacity, please email [email protected], [email protected], or [email protected]. If we do not have enough volunteers to judge, we may require teams to provide a volunteer to judge.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In case of inclement weather (as determined by SOROCO School District) the tournament will be canceled and no refunds will be available.
Refund and Payment Policies
Payment Deadline:
Payments for this tournament are due one week prior to the event @ 12:00 PM EST
If the Event Partner cancels the event for reasons other than inclement weather:
Refunds will be available up to two weeks prior to the event, minus the $5.00 non-refundable RobotEvents fee.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Refunds will be available up to two weeks prior to the event, minus the $5.00 non-refundable RobotEvents fee.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
