General Info
Welcome to the TrailBlazer Robotics Invitational League. This league is being held at Trailblazer Robotics South location in Cumming, Georgia for the teams from Trailblazer Robotics, and any teams that didn’t qualify for State Championship. Priority will be given to elementary teams. If there are spots open in the end, we will accept middle school teams. We are requesting that any team that would like to be considered for Judged Awards such as Excellence, Design, or Innovate submit their Engineering Notebook by uploading to Robotevents by 5 PM Friday, January 9th.
Leagues nights will be:
- Saturday January 10th - Skills, Judging, and Teamwork matches
- Saturday, January 17th - Skills, Judging, and Teamwork matches
- Saturday, January 24th - , Skills, Judging, Teamwork matches, and Teamwork Finals
League Format & Important Notes

This event is a VEX IQ League consisting of three League Ranking Sessions.

Each team will attend one (1) League Ranking Session only, due to capacity limitations.

Each League Ranking Session will host up to 6 teams.

League rankings will be determined by each team’s average Teamwork Match score from the session they attend.

Robot Skills attempts will be available during the League Ranking Session each team attends, in accordance with RECF rules.

Judging will occur during each League Ranking Session. All teams will receive an interview and Engineering Notebook review during the session they attend.

Judged awards will be determined league-wide and presented at the final Awards Ceremony.

Finals will be held at 1:00 PM on the final league date. Teams advancing to Finals will be notified after the final League Ranking Session and are required to be present at 1:00 PM for Finals.

Every participant is required to fill out the participant release form. This form, also accessible in Spanish, needs to be completed just once for the entire season, encompassing all events.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If severe weather or other emergency situations arise that pose travel or safety concerns for the majority of teams, the event might be delayed or called off. We will promptly inform all teams of any updates or changes.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Should there be a need to cancel an event, efforts will be made to set a new date to ensure participants have a chance to compete. If rescheduling isn't feasible, participants will be reimbursed minus a $5 fee retained by REC to cover transaction costs. For any queries regarding this rule, please contact the event partner.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event and then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Refunds won't be provided unless there's a backup team on standby that can take the place of the departing team. If a standby team is available to replace the exiting team, a refund, excluding the $5 REC transaction fee, will be processed. For further clarification on this policy, please engage with the event partner.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
