Event Description
The Louisiana VEX IQ Middle School State Championship sponsorered by Venture Global will take place February 26-27, 2025. This will be held at the Louisiana Region 5 STEM Center @ Lake Charles Boston Academy of Learning. This event brings together the top High School VEX V5 Robotic teams from around the state to celebrate their accomplishments and compete in the 2025-2026 VEX V5 Robotics Competition: Push Back.

Overview of Volunteer Roles
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of an emergency or bad weather, the event may be cancelled.
In any event, teams will be contacted as soon as possible with the information. The event partner will contact teams if the event must be postponed. Teams should make sure their contact information is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.
Please check your email the day before and the morning of the tournament (before leaving).
Refund and Payment Policies
There will be no refunds unless the entire tournament is cancelled.
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Team contacts will be notified about how to receive a refund
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Teams must complete payment before due date, if payment is completed and a team cannot make it no refund will be given.
**If you have to cancel last minute please let us know in case we need to adjust the rosters or schedule.

Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply. Please see the Remote Judging section of the Guide to Judging for more information.
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Notebooks are due for the 2026 Louisiana Middle School VEX IQ Robotics Championship on February 25th, 2026.
