Welcome to Sagemont Prep Lower School VEX IQ Robotics Qualifier - Elementary and Middle School tournament qualifying for the South Florida Event Region Championship

Inviting all new teams! Please add your team to our waitlist! We will add teams from the waitlist - priority will be given to teams with 0-1 events - until January 30th. At that point we will add the other teams (least number of events first) If there are spots left, the event will open for all teams on January 31st.

If you are a new team or have not been able to register for any events so far, this is for you. We are looking forward to seeing you!

All participants are expected to complete the participant release form. Once per season covers all events.

Please arrive with Robots that are COMPETITION READY. Ideally, you should do a preliminary inspection of your own prior to arrival, using either the official VIQRC Rapid Relay inspection sheet or guidelines in the VIQRC Game Manual.

Pizza and snacks and beverages will be available for purchase.

Each team should bring a 15ft (or longer) extension cord--power will be within 15 ft of each pit table for charging.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED--ideally, each registered team brings along at least one adult to help run the event--email [email protected] if you are interested!

Volunteer

WE LOVE VOLUNTEERS!

Volunteers are managed in shifts--either 7:30 am-1 pm or 12 pm-5:30 pm (or both, if you like). Volunteers will be trained at the event (no previous experience or expertise required!!) Some jobs are for adults only, but MANY can be done by kids as young as 10.

VOLUNTEERING IS A GREAT WAY TO GET SERVICE HOURS (for Bright Futures, Scholarship applications, etc, or to do a nice thing for others). Volunteering at an IQ event is fun!
