General Info

Korea International School, Jeju Campus is proud to host its 7th Annual IQ on the Island: Mix & Match VIQRC tournament.  This event will serve as a Mix & Match kickoff for most teams in attendance.  All participating teams will have an opportunity to test their robots in a tournament environment, collaborate with other teams, interview with a panel of judges and have their engineering notebook scored.

Engineering notebooks will be submitted for judging at the team check in table located at the entrance of the middle school gym.  Digital engineering notebooks should be printed and submitted for judging on the morning of the tournament.  Printing will not be available at the tournament. Teams that do not submit a notebook will not be eligible for awards that require the engineering notebook.

This tournament is open to all elementary and middle school VIQRC teams.  Lunch and other concessions will not be available on campus, therefore we encourage teams to make their own arrangements for student and coach meals.  Only water is allowed inside the middle school gym.

Charging stations near the pit area will be available for teams to charge batteries and controllers during the tournament. Make sure all equipment is labeled with team numbers in case of loss.

Korea International School, Jeju Campus is not liable in case of loss or injury.

The Qualifying Spots to the Korea VEX IQ National Championship listed on the event page are the minimum number that will be given out. Additional spots will also be given out once we have determined the grade level of the teams moving forward directly from the event. Additional spots will be given out so that each grade level's allocation of 10 ES team and 10 MS team is met.
