General Info
Welcome to the VEX IQ Robotics Skills Challenge at Harmony Science Academy–Katy Elementary! This event focuses exclusively on the Driving Skills and Programming Skills (Autonomous) portions of the VEX IQ Competition — there will be no Teamwork Matches or Judged Awards such as Robot Design or STEM Research. The competition is open to both Elementary and Middle School teams, providing a great opportunity for students to test and improve their robot’s performance in a friendly, supportive environment. Each team will have three (3) attempts at Driving Skills and three (3) attempts at Autonomous Programming Skills. Trophies will be awarded to the Skills Champion, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place teams based on their combined Skills scores. We look forward to an exciting day of creativity, coding, and collaboration in the world of robotics!

To make this event successful, we are in need of the following volunteers: robot inspectors and facilitators who will queue the teams in order.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of bad weather, all registered teams will be notified either the night before or early on the morning of the event day. The decision to delay or cancel the event will be made with safety as our top priority. Refunds will only be issued if the event is canceled due to bad weather. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Refund and Payment Policies
All registration payments must be completed at least one week before the event. No team will be allowed to participate if payment is not received by this deadline. Refunds will only be issued if the event partner cancels the event due to unforeseen circumstances. We appreciate your timely payment and understanding of these policies to ensure a smooth and fair experience for all teams.
