General Info
This is a VEX IQ Live Remote Skills Only Event hosted by Bryan ISD – Davila Middle School.
This event is non-qualifying and is intended to provide teams with an opportunity to submit official VEX IQ Robot Skills scores prior to the Technology Student Association (TSA) submission deadline.
Teams will complete Robot Skills runs at their own location using an official VEX IQ competition field. All attempts must follow the VEX IQ Robotics Competition Game Manual and the REC Foundation Live Remote Skills guidelines.
Live remote supervision is required. Teams will be scheduled for individual one-hour time slots, during which all Skills runs will be observed and verified by event staff.
All scores must be submitted by February 8, 2026 at 12:00 PM (noon). Late submissions will not be accepted.

Exact team time slots will be communicated directly to registered teams after registration closes.
Volunteer
This event will be staffed by certified Event Partners and trained volunteers.
Volunteers may include referees, score verification staff, and technical support personnel.
All volunteers will follow REC Foundation policies and event procedures.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of emergency situations, technical failures, or severe weather impacting connectivity, teams will be contacted directly to reschedule their remote session if possible.
If rescheduling is not possible, the Event Partner will communicate next steps with affected teams.

The registration fee for this event is $40 per team.

Registration fees must be paid in full at the time of registration through RobotEvents.com.

No refunds will be issued for teams that withdraw, fail to attend their scheduled time slot, or do not complete Skills runs.

Refunds will only be issued if the event is cancelled by the Event Partner.

If a team experiences technical issues during their scheduled time slot, accommodations may be made at the discretion of the Event Partner, but refunds are not guaranteed.

Teams are responsible for ensuring a safe competition environment at their own location during Skills runs.

All participants must follow local school, district, and organizational safety policies.

Teams must comply with all VEX IQ Robotics Competition safety rules outlined in the current Game Manual.

Any unsafe behavior observed during live remote supervision may result in the termination of a Skills run at the discretion of the Event Partner.
