Welcome to Egypt VEX IQ Robotics Competition, Mix & Match 2025 - 2026 ! National Qualifier

Egypt National VEX IQ Robotics Competition Mix & Match 2025 - 2026 , which will be held on February 27, 2026, at Alex Physicians Club 

This event is open to the Egyptian VEX IQ Robotics Competition teams registered for the 2025 – 2026 season.

Skills Challenges will be available to all teams, with 3 Max Driver and 3 Max Programming attempts per team

Competition Preparation

This event is sure to be a fast-paced and exciting event! All teams should come prepared for the competition. Here are a few steps that every team should take to ensure that they are ready:

  1. Review the rules and run through the inspection checklist about a week before the competition
  2. Check the official Game Manual for rule updates and changes
  3. Check the official VEX forums for rule updates and changes
  4. Carefully read all of the information contained in the tournament posting on RobotEvents.com
  5. Pack for the event the day before your departure. Here are a few items that you don't want to forget.
    1. Spare parts & tools
    2. Batteries and chargers
    3. Programming cable
    4. Power strip
    5. Laptop computer
    6. Engineering notebook.
  6. Review the descriptions and criteria for the awards being given during the tournament.
  7. Prep for your interviews with the judges. Check the awards tab to see what awards will be given during the tournament.
  8. Remember that safety comes first; please only bring tools that pose a safety risk to your team or others nearby, as the venue is a very tight fit.

IMPORTANT! If you are late, call the Event Manager on the day of the event. If your team is not there to check in on time and no communication has been made, the match schedule will be run without your team, and they cannot compete.

Team Judging will be held in the pit area. Teams will be visited at the end of the judging period if a team has yet to arrive by 11:00 am when judging begins.  Please make yourselves available to the judges when they appear at your Pit table. If you have a match upcoming shortly or are running skills, respectfully inform the judges and agree on a time to meet with them at your pit table.

Volunteer

The Egyptian VEX IQ Robotics Competition MIX & MATCH National Event, which will be held on February 27, 2025, at Alex Physicians Club, ALEX Governorate, Egypt, is fully volunteer-run. Egypts is well-known for its strong volunteering culture; everyone is welcome to help make this a unique experience for all participants and attendees.

Experience is optional for many volunteering positions. Some positions can be split between two adults for a morning and afternoon shift. Depending on the role, you can volunteer for a whole day. Lunch will be provided for all-day volunteers.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
