Loreto Kirribilli - VIQRC Level Up Tournament

This event will be hosted by Loreto Kirribilli, NSW, Australia.

The competition will be held on a regular school day and is not open to spectators. Attendance is limited to students, teachers, coaches, and volunteers only, if you would like to attend, please volunteer.

If you are intersted in volunteering please get in touch, we would love to hear from you. Please see below for the various roles and ways you can support the program.

Volunteer Roles

  • Judges: Evaluate team interviews and engineering notebooks, providing constructive feedback..

  • Scorekeepers: Record and manage match results.

  • Field Reset Crew: Help reset the field between matches for smooth event flow.

  • Pit Admin: Assist teams in the pit area and provide information.

  • Check-In/Registration: Welcome teams and volunteers, confirm attendance.

  • General Event Support: Lend a hand wherever needed—set up, pack down or be an extra pair of hands

Full training and support will be provided for all roles.

In the event of extreme weather conditions the event will be cancelled. Organisers will do their best to give advance notice where possible.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be issued

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Cancellations with less than 10 days notice will forfeit the registration fee.

Travel Info

Travelling to Loreto.

Car/Bus:  Access to the venue is via the main gate on Carabella Road, Kirribilli.  Parking nearby is mostly limited to 2 hours with very few all day spots available.  There is a bus zone available for drop off near the front gate, but this can be highly congested in the mornings. Larger buses are recommended to use nearby Broughton Street next to Bradfield Park, underneath the harbour Bridge 

Train: The school is a short walk (6min) from Milsons Point Station. 

 

Judging Format

  • Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact.
  • The Engineering Notebook link submission deadline is 5 days before, students may continue to work on their Digital Engineering Notebook up until the morning of the event.
