Welcome to the Inaugural Calgary VEX Robotics League!
We are excited to have you join us this season! This season we will plan to host three ranking sessions and one alliance selection/finals. Each team will be expected to participate in 2 of the 3 ranking sessions, a required minimum of 66% of the ranking matches during the scheduled league.
The league events are as follows:
First League Session - Nov 18, 2023
Second League Session - Jan 6, 2024
Third League Session - Jan 20, 2024
League Finals - Feb 17, 2024
The goal of this league is to provide teams with a chance to experience competitions early in the season and have some time between Qualifying Sessions to work on their robot and make improvements based on what they learn. It will provide an early competition season outlet for teams to learn how their robot designs perform and how the Over/Under Game rules are interpreted and applied during competitions. Due to the early nature of this event, we do not plan to have judging.

Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in person at the League Finals event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
