Priority will be given to VEX teams from international schools in Shanghai. If openings remain after all international schools in Shanghai have registered, teams on the waiting list will be allocated spots on a first-come, first-served basis.

The fee includes lunch per team for a max of 5 members per team. Please make sure that students with allergies provide their lunch.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

The event is indoors. in the event of severe weather, the event may be canceled. Teams will be notified accordingly.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be made if the event is canceled.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

No Refunds after December 1st. Unpaid teams will be removed from the event to allow teams on my waitlist to register. Please get in touch with the event partner if there are considerations to be made. 

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
