General Info
LAUSD's Irving STEAM Magnet in conjunction with Downey's Unified Stauffer Middle School and Griffith Middle School are proud to present the First Annual Southern California Middle School Invitational: Over Under. This invitational event is open to teams in the southern california area, please put your team on the waiting list if you would like to participate and we will notify you as soon as your participation is confirmed. Snacks and drinks will be sold.
On-site parking is free.
Registration will be at 8:00 am, sharp.
Teams must be checked in 45 minutes prior to the start of the qualification matches so that the match schedule may be printed. Teams must contact the event partner if they are running late or they will be removed from the team list for the event.
Teams must be paid January 20, 2024 . Teams not paid at this time may be dropped at the event partner's discretion to allow teams in from the wait list.

In the case of bad weather conditions or possible cancellations, please visit the event on Robotevents.com where updates about the event status will be posted as needed. Please make sure your team contact information is up to date in RobotEvents.com in the event we need to contact your team.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
All teams who have registered and paid will be given a refund.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Event payments are expected when you register for this event and must be completed by January 20, 2023 . Unpaid teams will be removed from the event, allowing space for teams on the wait list. Due to the financial commitment on the part of the event venue, no refunds will be possible. Thank you for your understanding. It is essential that all teams check in before 8:00 am.
Judging Format
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
