General Info

Join us for an evening of robot skills runs! PWCS is pleased to host our 7th annual skills event.

3:00 to 8:30pm at Woodbridge HS in the robotics room. More details with instructions and parking will come later.

The event is very casual with no set schedule. Teams can come and go as they please. We will host 1 main field but may be able to add another to move things along. Simply line up, run your programming or driver skills, and help reset the field.

We will have light concessions available but you are welcome to bring your own food.

Setup and cleanup help is appreciated.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Emergency Closing will be decided by 10:00 am on day of the event. Decision to postpone or completely cancel will be made at that time. Delayed school openings will typically not affect the event. If the school system determines that all after school activities are cancelled on the day of the event, an email will go out to all prinmary contacts for each team as soon as it is announced and the event is cancelled with no rescheduling possible.

Refund and Payment Policies

Due to the nature of this type of late season event, no refunds will be possible if a team cancels. If possible, and with consultation with the RECF, we will try to swap in another team from your own organization. In the event that the event is cancelled by our school division, refunds will be issued minus a $5 dollar adminsitrative fee. Refunds will be issued to prinamry contact addressees.

Masks are optional. Any changes to school divsision policy or CDC guidelines will be shared with the teams.

Woodbridge High School is located in the suburb know as Lake Ridge. Unfortunatley, there are no nearby hotel accomadations. If your team is traveling from outside the area and would like help finding accomadations, please email Carlos Castro, [email protected], and I will reply with nearest suggestions.

Otherwise, Woodbridhe High School is located at 3001 Old Bridge Road, Woodbridge VA, 22192

Be careful with GPS, there is a Woodbridge Middle School which is about 10 miles from our location.
