SG3 - Stay away from your opponent’s protected areas. Robots may not intentionally or accidentally, directly or indirectly, perform the following actions:
Case E - Contact an opposing Alliance’s Inner Protected Zone. Case E Violation - Any violation of points E, F, or G will result in a Disqualification, whether the interaction was Match Affecting or not.

If a blue robot is in their Inner Protected Zone and their robot is not fully within the volume of their Protected Zone, and defense is played on them by an opponent, what takes precedence? Q&A #426 for blue is not fully within their Outer Protected Zone, or SG3-E for indirectly contacting the Inner Protected Zone through a blue robot?
Does this change depending on how egregious the defense is?

By "defense is played on them by an opponent", we are assuming that you mean the Red Robot is contacting the Blue Robot, and the Blue Robot is contacting their Inner Protected Zone. This would, therefore, be considered indirect contact with an opponent's Inner Protected Zone.
