731: LRT - Contacting Scored Balls

These are questions only relating to Live Remote Tournaments.
Here is LRT9:
LRT9 This rule is a modification of the definition of Scored. In a Live Remote Tournament, a Ball may be considered Scored in a Goal if it is still touching a Robot of either Alliance color.
Note: The intent of this rule is for Head Referees to give Teams the “benefit of the doubt” if they inadvertently contact a Ball when attempting to Double / Quadruple a Goal.
Here is the definition of Scored:
Scored - A Ball status. A Ball is considered Scored in a Goal if it is not touching a Robot of the same color as the Ball and meets all of the following criteria. • The Ball is fully or partially within the outer edge of the Goal. • The Ball is fully below the upper edge of the Goal. • The Ball is not contacting the foam tiles outside of the Goal.
Here is the definition of Doubled:
Doubled - A Goal status. A Goal is considered Doubled if it is being contacted by a Robot at the end of a Match. See rule LRT6 for more details.
Here is the definition of Quadrupled:
Quadrupled - A Goal status. A Goal is considered Quadrupled if it is Doubled by both Robots on an Alliance at the end of a Match (i.e. a Goal with the same Goal Label is being contacted by both Robots, on their respective fields, at the end of a Match). See rule LRT6 for more details.
My confusion is the phrase "a Ball may be considered Scored..." in LRT9 and the Note continuing to clarify this and the order of priority these take.
Here are two scenarios that follow my interpretation of the rule.
Scenario 1 A robot at the end of autonomous is contacting an otherwise Scored ball, and due to this happening during the Autonomous period, there is no intent to Double / Quadruple a goal. My interpretation is this ball does not meet the definition of Scored.
Scenario 2 At the end of a match, a robot is contacting a goal with the intent to Double / Quadruple the goal but inadvertently contacts the bottom Scored ball as well. My interpretation is the goal is Doubled / Quadrupled, and the ball is Scored.
Are these interpretations correct?

LRT9 should be interpreted as it is written. In a Live Remote Tournament, a Ball may be considered Scored in a Goal if it is still touching a Robot of either Alliance color.
The phrase "when attempting to Double or Quadruple" was intended to be a colloquial explanation for this rule modification, and reinforce that Head Referees will be providing "benefit of the doubt" often during a Live Remote Tournament. It was not intended to be an explicit caveat to the verbiage of LRT9.
Therefore, in both of your scenarios, all Balls would be considered Scored, and the Robot contact would be irrelevant.
