Official Q&A: VRC 2022-2023: Spin Up
1347: Using suggested replacement for retired/legacy part.
I'm currently trying to purchase more of the Pneumatics on/off switches, VHK3-04F-04F.
On SMC, and other sites such as Radwell PLC have all suggested to use this part: www.smcpneumatics.com/VHK3A-04F-04F.html as a replacement.
Would using this part be considered legal in for VRC Spin-Up?

Thank you for your question. Because part # VHK3-04F-04F has been discontinued by SMC, part # VHK3A-04F-04F is an acceptable alternative for use in VRC Spin Up. The Legal VEX Pneumatics Summary document will be updated to reflect this additional legal part #.
