123A and 321A are on the same alliance during a match. During the driver control period, a drive team member from 123A is handed a controller for 321A's robot.
- Can alliances intentionally swap controllers with their alliance partner during the driver control period?
- If no, which rules would apply in this scenario?

Alliance Partners cannot legally operate each other's Robots during a Match.
Swapping controllers as you've described would result in Students serving as Drive Team Members for multiple Teams during an event, or a Team borrowing a Driver from another Team, which are Violations of rule <G5>.
