General Info
Trailblazer Robotics is thrilled to present this VEX IQ tournament for Middle School students. We anticipate a day brimming with robotics competition and enthusiasm. We can't wait to witness the brilliance of all teams!
Participants should submit their notebooks in physical format at the competition for the Judge awards such as Excellence, Design or Innovate Awards evaluation. Those with digital notebooks should print them for submission.
Every participant is required to fill out the participant release form. This form, also accessible in Spanish, needs to be completed just once for the entire season, encompassing all events.

10:00 AM – 10:45 AM: Skills Matches & Inspections
(45 minutes allocated for teams to run skills challenges immediately as doors open)

10:45 AM – 11:00 AM: Drivers Meeting & Welcome
(Brief buffer to organize teams before qualifications begin)

11:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Qualification Matches (Part 1)

(First block of the qualification matches starting right at 11:00 AM, A skills Field will be open)

12:30 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch Break
(30-minute pause midway through qualifications, Skills Field will be closed)

1:00 PM – 2:35 PM: Qualification Matches (Part 2)
(Second block concluding exactly at the 2:35 PM end time, Skills field will be open till 2:00)

2:35 PM – 3:00 PM: Finals & Awards Ceremony
(Tournament wrap-up right after qualifications end)

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If severe weather or other emergency situations arise that pose travel or safety concerns for the majority of teams, the event might be delayed or called off. We will promptly inform all teams of any updates or changes.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Should there be a need to cancel an event, efforts will be made to set a new date to ensure participants have a chance to compete. If rescheduling isn't feasible, participants will be reimbursed. For any queries regarding this rule, please contact the event partner.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event and then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Refunds won't be provided unless there's a backup team on standby that can take the place of the departing team.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
