N.T. East VEX IQ (ES) Tournament

General Info

This is an Invitational Event for Hong Kong Elementary School.  

Welcome to the N.T. East VEX IQ (ES) Tournament! Jointly organized by the Hong Kong Technology Education Association (HKTEA), Ling Liang Church M H Lau Secondary School and Hong Kong Joint School Technology Education Association (JSTEA), this event brings together school teams from across Hong Kong to test their engineering skills, collaborate with peers, and showcase their technical ingenuity on the VEX IQ platform.

Designed as an immersive STEM experience, the tournament challenges participants to put their classroom knowledge into practice. Teams will deploy their custom-engineered VEX IQ robots in spirited, fast-paced matches that highlight mechanical design, sensor application, precise driving, and automated programming. Beyond the arena, students cultivate essential life skills—sharpening their critical reasoning, tackling complex challenges, and mastering real-time teamwork and sportsmanship.

Teams will compete through qualification match and a thrilling grand final, vying for match victories and various prestigious judges awards. Whether you are a seasoned team with a proven track record or a rising newcomer making your debut, this event promises rich inspiration and growth for all. We warmly invite all coaches, students, and supporters to join us at Ling Liang Church M H Lau Secondary School to celebrate the next generation of innovators!

Registration & Acceptance Phases

For teams wishing to join this competition, please add your team to the Waitlist. The organizers will contact you to filter eligible teams to be invited into the tournament, and acceptances will be released across three time slots:

• Phase 1 (23 Oct 2026): First Round Acceptance 
• Phase 2 (6 Nov 2026): Second Round Acceptance
• Phase 3 (27 Nov 2026): Final Round Acceptance

Code of Conduct

All participants, mentors, and attendees are reminded to adhere to the Global Robotics & Science Foundation Code of Conduct. Compliance with these expectations ensures a safe, welcoming, and respectful experience for all attendees. The Event Organizers appreciate everyone’s commitment to upholding these standards.

Consent Form

Teams must submit consent forms for all attendees, including but not limited to coaches, students, and parents, before the Registration Deadline. Failure to do so will result in the team being moved to the waitlist, and no refund of the registration fee will be provided. These forms cover important topics such as safety, liability, image rights, and eligibility. As parental consent is required, please ensure all forms are submitted in advance. Teams that do not submit the required forms will not be allowed to participate.

歡迎參與由香港科技教育學會 (HKTEA) 主辦、靈糧堂劉梅軒中學 以及 香港聯校科技教育協會（JSTEA）協辦之「VEX IQ 機器人分區賽 - 新界東區 小學組」！本賽事專為全港學生量身打造，旨在提供一個高水準的交流平台，讓青年創客在 VEX IQ 舞台上展現卓越的技術與創意。

比賽將 STEM 理論轉化為實戰體驗，參賽隊伍需運用自行設計與組裝的 VEX IQ 機器人展開精彩對決。賽程不僅全面檢視機械結構、感測技術與自主程式驅動的精準度，更注重隊員間的戰術默契、應變彈性與團隊情誼。透過實戰鍛鍊，學生能有效提升邏輯思維、問題解決力與運動家精神。

各隊將歷經資格初賽以及高潮迭起的決賽，角逐分場勝負與多項專業評審大獎。不論是屢創佳績的資深隊伍，還是首度參賽的新秀陣容，都能在此收穫滿滿的啟發與成長。我們誠摯邀請各界導師、學生與家長蒞臨靈糧堂劉梅軒中學，共同為年輕工程師們的精彩表現喝采！

報名流程及錄取梯次

有意參賽之隊伍，請先加入候補名單（Waitlist）。大會將分三個時段進行錄取（優先錄取未曾參加預賽之隊伍）：

• 第一階段（2026年10月23日）： 優先註冊階段
• 第二階段（2026年11月6日）： 第二輪隊伍錄取
• 第三階段（2026年11月27日）： 最終輪隊伍錄取

行為準則

請所有參賽者、導師及出席人士遵守 Global Robotics & Science Foundation 的《行為準則》。遵守相關規範將確保所有參與者享有安全、友善且互相尊重的活動體驗。賽事主辦單位感謝大家的共同努力，以攜手維護這些標準。

同意書

隊伍必須在報名截止日期前，為所有出席人士（包括但不限於教練、學生及家長）提交同意書。未能按時提交者，隊伍將被移至候補名單，且報名費用將不予退還。這些表格涵蓋安全、責任、肖像權及參賽資格等重要事項。由於需要家長同意，請提前確保所有表格已提交。未提交所需表格的隊伍將不得參加賽事。
