Inspection Guidelines
Inspection Guidelines
It is each team’s responsibility to arrive on site with a robot ready to be inspected.
We will start inspection at 6:00pm on Friday, March 5, 2027. We will close inspection at 7:45PM. Any Robot that passes inspection on Friday and leaves their Robot on site overnight will not have to pass inspection on Saturday and will receive a coupon for "one" Fast pass for the line for Skills that night or Saturday. NOTE all teams must pass inspection by Opening Ceremonies on Saturday. If they do not pass by that time they will not be allowed to participate. They MAY NOT receive a refund.
Please download and print out the “Inspection Check List”. You can find the Inspection Check List in the Documents Tab online.
Please fill in your team Number on the front page, have your coach sign at the bottom. Bring it with you to the inspection line in the Robotics Arena.
Those teams that pass Sizing and have their coaches signature will get a Fast Pass to the head of the line for the next inspection step.
Size Inspection
The first inspection table will be for sizing. Please make sure you have complete knowledge of sizing as outlined in in the Game Manual.
Legal Parts
Be prepared to show proof that all parts are VEX legal parts.
Failure to provide the above proof of being a legal part will be grounds for NOT passing inspection.
Food Policies
Food and Lunches for attendees.
After last years ERC we are exploring ways to provide reasonable and affordable food and beverage options to care for all attendees.
CANOPIES WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE CAMPUS
We understand the need to feed the team’s lunches and the need to keep team members hydrated. Please note that food purchased off site will be allowed in the buildings. Teams may have drinks and snacks in their pits.
As part of your entry fee, on behalf of the Event Partner, each team will receive free for lunch, one (1) Costco Pepperoni or Cheese Pizza. Additional preorders of one pizza are available at $10.00.. To receive your FREE pizza you must acknowledge by email that you want the FREE pizza by the deadline of 3/1/27. There will be a concessions stand with juice, soda, chips, candy, sandwiches, and snacks available for purchase. Menu to follow soon. Offsite lunch options are limited and teams should plan accordingly since we will have a short lunch break from 12:00-1:00PM. We also want to limit teams being offsite. Within a five minute walk you will find three different taco shops (good Mexican cuisine), Domino’s Pizza, L&L Hawaiian BBQ, and Burro’s and Fries. Please, please, please, coordinate this information to your team and parents.
We are currently researching having Food Trucks on site.
