No prior robotics experience is necessary for most roles—we will train you on-site! Volunteer Shift Schedule - Arrival & Training: 12:30 PM - Event Shift: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Includes clean-up)
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of severe weather conditions, extreme road hazards, or unforeseen facility emergencies at Mi3L School:
1. Cancellation Decision: A final decision regarding event cancellation or a delayed start time will be made by 10:00 AM on the morning of the event.
2. Notification Channel: urgent email will be sent to the primary contacts of all registered teams.
3. Rescheduling: If local travel conditions are deemed unsafe by school administration or regional transit authorities, we will attempt to coordinate a makeup date with the Global Robotics and Science Foundation Program Support Manager
If your team cannot safely travel due to localized weather conditions in your specific area, please notify the Event Partner as soon as possible so we can adjust our field queue schedule.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
A full refund of the event registration fee (minus the standard $5 processing fee) will be issued to all registered teams if the event cannot be rescheduled. * If a makeup date is successfully scheduled, teams who cannot attend the new date must notify the Event Partner within 48 hours of the announcement to request their refund.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
All registrations are strictly non-refundable.** Once a registration is finalized, no refunds or registration transfers will be issued if a team chooses to withdraw, cancel, or fails to attend the event on game day.
