At a tournament this weekend this scenario happened:

  1. Team A had two drivers and a loader throughout the day
  2. Team B had two drivers and a loader throughout the day
  3. Both teams made it to finals, but team A only had their drivers available for finals
  4. Team A borrowed a loader from team C- Team C loader had already competed throughout the day with team C as their loader
  5. Team A now had their two drivers and a borrowed driver from team C for the finals match

Is this scenario legal? The person from team C had competed with their team all day, but under G4c they went to following this part of the rule "For a given event, they may substitute in a Student from another Team to be their Loader for the duration of the event. This Student will effectively become a member of the new Team for that event, and cannot fill a role on the original Team (or on any other Teams) for the remainder of that event." Since the event was over after finals, there was no need for them to return to their original team. Can you please provide clarification.

As clarified in Q&A 2105, a Loader cannot fill that role for more than one Team during an Event, except for single Matches as described in clause C of rule <G4>.
