2870: Printed numbers on Licence plates
<R6> specifies that a License plate can be a "plain paper version of matching size"
Assuming it is made by students:
Q1) must team numbers be hand written on paper/official license plates?
Q2) is the following a legal lumber plate: a custom digital team number graphic and add it onto the license paper plate template, this combination is then printed out and attached. (eg. adding the team number to the template in word)
Q3) can this a custom number graphic be attached to a legal license plate with pins and this combination be considered a legal license plate?
Q4) can you use something like label tape to print the team number as a label and attach that to a the non-paper license plate

Team numbers can be added to License Plates in a variety of ways, including marker, number stickers, custom cut adhesive vinyl, or label printers. If needed, a printed number can be attached to a standard VEX IQ plate with legal materials (e.g., IQ pins). Team numbers must be clearly legible, regardless of the method used to put them on plates.
Any of your examples would be legal if the base License Plates are either the standard VEX IQ plates or plain paper versions, and if the method of adding the Team number doesn't significantly increase the overall thickness of the License Plate.
