[<RSC5>](https://events.vex.com/storage/game_manual/VEX_IQ_Robotics_Competition_2025-2026_Mix_Match/rules/RSC5.html Hello, Our team has a question regarding a strategy we want to use during the autonomous skills challenge.

Here is our proposed sequence:

  1. We run a portion of our auton program
  2. We bring the robot back to a legal starting position
  3. We use an alignment object we built to space our robot a set distance from the field wall
  4. We remove the alignment object from the field (the alignment object is not part of or attached to our robot)
  5. We press a button to resume our auton

Are we allowed to use this tool we built while we are setting up our robot again?

Thank you for your time.
