Official Q&A: VEX IQ Robotics Competition 2025-2026: Mix & Match

<SC6> Hello, I encountered the following at an event and was unsure on the proper way to score it based on the 2 color stack (3 pins, 2 the same color on the floor goal)

In the example, I counted it as the following since I could not find a definite answer, I gave the benefit to the team (and would have utilized this approach for the entire tournament):

• 6 connected pins
• 1 two color stack
• 1 three color stack
• 2 stacks in matching goal
• 1 stack placed on standoff goal

The 3 pin (2 color stack of yellow, yellow, blue) on the floor goal is where my confusion lies. I was unsure if the (yellow, yellow) combination now negates the matching goal bonus.
