3267: Does a robot have to start touching the field perimter?
Previous years, robots have had to start touching the field perimeter wall (or in last years case, the triangle goal). Per SG1-B, it says robots 'may' start be touching a field perimeter, but doesn't specifically require that it does in current language. I know other QA have confirm it may start touching the top of the perimeter wall as well. So would just like absolute clarity if a robot must be in contact with any part of the perimeter at the start of a match or can sit freely in the defined starting box off the wall as long as it fits in size. Thanks!

Robots are allowed, but not required, to begin the Match in contact with the Field Perimeter, per <SG1>.
