In past seasons, Q&A answers were considered precedent for interpretation for current Game Manual rules. Is this still the case? Or do we start with a blank slate each season?

In past seasons, Q&A answers were considered precedent for interpretation for current Game Manual rules. Is this still the case? Or do we start with a blank slate each season?
Q&A answers from previous seasons have never applied to the current season's game; it has always been a "blank slate". Yes, previous season's Q&A answers or rules may sometimes be used to influence a new Q&A answer from the GDC. However, they should never be used as an official precedent to make a ruling decision in a current year's game. Context matters - for example, Hoarding interpretations shifted slightly between In the Zone and Turning Point, despite the term remaining the same.
