3006: Clarification on G24(a) – Anodizing and Color Customization of Custom Metal Parts
Hello! In Game Manual, G24(a) notes that:
Note: As of October 1, 2024, anodizing or color changing of parts (such as painting, etc., which changes the original appearance of parts) is no longer allowed in events in mainland China.
However, could you clarify whether this rule also applies to custom-made metal parts, such as sheet metal fabricated by teams? We are interested in customizing the appearance of our robot with various colors but want to ensure full compliance with the rules.

Teams are allowed to paint, anodize, or otherwise color custom-made parts that are created from legal Raw Stock.
The note in <R24> clause A prohibiting the anodizing, painting, or other color changing of parts applies only to official VEX metal parts.
