General Info

PRIOR is proud to host the Annual College Robotics Championship. This tournament will be a qualifier for the VEX Robotics World Championship. The goal of the Technology Challenge event is to inspire students into STEM, and develop the engineers and scientist of the future.

Saturday will be the inspection, practice and competition day with qualifying rounds and playoffs. Teams must be registered in REC and have their official team number, contact PRIOR for Registration Details.

We're looking forward to hosting the VEX Robotics Competition and can't wait to see all the teams soon.

** Notas aclaratorias:

1. En este evento se define la delegación Boricua de Robótica a competir en las mundiales de Robótica VEX 2022. De este evento 1 equipo universitario pasa a la delegacion boricua, el cual sera el equipo que obtenga el premio de Excelencia.

2. Para este evento se requiere evidencia de vacunacion, solo se permite un estudiante con un familiar acompañante y un coach por equipo. En la mesa de los pits solo deben estar los estudiantes con su coach. Se requiere el uso de mascarilla en todo momento y mantener el distanciamiento entre las personas.

3. Todos los participantes deben estudiar y entender las reglas del reto antes del evento. Existen reglas particulares del evento que también deben entender, por ejemplo:

A la pista pueden entrar máximo de 3 estudiantes del mismo nivel escolar: Piloto, Co-Piloto y Coach.

Definición de Coach: Estudiante que esta al mismo nivel escolar de su equipo, este no puede tocar el control remoto, tampoco el robot en la pista.

Solo el estudiante capitan del equipo puede reclamar una jugada.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

We reserve the rights to postpone the event in case of bad weather or a situation out of our controls. In such a case, the teams are no required to make additional registration fee. The cost and registration fees are not refundable.
