General Info
VEX U Scrimmage - Override™ : VEX University - Hosted by Hytec Power
The VEX U Scrimmage - Override™ is a practice and preparation activity designed for college and university robotics teams participating in the VEX U Robotics Competition.
The scrimmage provides higher education teams with a dedicated environment to test advanced robotic systems, refine engineering solutions, practice competition strategies, and improve overall team performance.
Unlike an official tournament, the scrimmage prioritizes experimentation, technical improvement, collaboration, and preparation rather than rankings, awards, or championship results.
The event aims to:
- Provide university teams with realistic competition practice
- Allow teams to test and optimize advanced robotic systems
- Develop engineering, programming, and automation skills
- Encourage innovation, research, and technical problem-solving
- Improve teamwork, communication, and strategic planning
- Prepare teams for official VEX U Robotics Competition events
