General Info

  • The  Nissan VEX IQ Ringmaster Qualifier event is in its 4th year.  At this event we will have 3 State Spots (1=Excellence and 2= Teamwork Champions. There will be additional trophies for Design, STEM and Judges awards. Design notebooks will be collected when you enter the event at the registration table.
  • Event payments are expected when you register for the event and must be completed 3 weeks prior to the event date. Un-Paid teams will be removed from the event to allow teams on my wait list to register. Please contact me if there are considerations to be made.
  • If this event is full please contact me regarding availability and to be added to a waitlist.

This event qualifies 3 spots to the IQ State Championship 1=Excellence 2=Champions.

11:30 ~ 12:30 ---- Break for lunch; Nissan Engineering Facility Tour (students only)

12:30 ~ 3:30 ----- STEM Research Project Interviews (sign up by appointment)

12:30 ~ 3:45 ----- Teamwork Matches, Skills Matches, Judging resumes

4:00 ~ 4:30 ------- Finals Matches

4:30 ~ 4:45 ------- Closing Ceremonies & Awards

5:00 PM ----------- Pits Close /  Clean up and go home

Also, consider bringing a field our event, as this will allow for more matches and practice time for the participating teams.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of bad weather conditions or possible cancellations please visit the event on events.vex.com where I will post updates about the event status as needed in the General description. Please feel free to contact me by phone 248-470-7981 if you are going to be late to the event. Match Lists will be generated as scheduled ( on agenda) and cannot be re-run.

Refund and Payment Policies

All requests for refunds must be made 3 weeks prior to the date of the event. Refunds if approved will be processed within 1 month following the event.
