General Info
Thank you so much for choosing to compete in the Junior Orange Bowl VEX IQ Qualifying Competition. We know that you will have a great time. This is the second year of this event and we are looking forward to a great time of competition and fun.
We are in the process of doing 2 things:
A. the event is at the Miami Springs Recreation Center which is located at 1401 Westward Drive, Miami Springs, FL 33166 not at the Miami Airport Convention Center.
B. The Elementary and Middle School IQ events will be combined at the actual competition.
As a reminder, all team members and adults who attend must complete the Participant Release form found at http://www.roboticseducation.org. Additionally, only teams that bring an Engineering Notebook can be eligible for the Design Award and, in addition, teams must complete the STEM Research project and compete in both Driver and Programming Skills (which have combined scoring) to be eligible for the Excellence awards. Please have robot INSPECTION READY prior to the event.
