General Info
Update: Dec. 8 at 5pm: The League Finals will be held on Monday, Dec. 11 from 3-6pm as approved by the Lamar Co. School District.
If your team is unable to attend, please notify me ASAP, so adjustments can be made. We apologize for the inconvenience but with snow in our area today it wasn't possible to hold the Finals as previously scheduled; however, the event is already set up and ready for Monday afternoon. We hope most of the teams will be able to participate in the Finals! Nadine Amaya
Update: Dec.8 12:45pm Weather forecast is advising no travel in the Hattiesburg area today/tonight and possibly no travel tomorrow morning until after noon. Looks like a slight chance that we could do the League Finals NOT the OG Tournament tomorrow if road conditions are safe for local teams to travel. Please alert families of that possibility. If roads are clear and district approves League Finals may happen on Saturday at 2 and be pushed to be done no later than 5pm for safe travel home. If that doesn't work our back up plan is for Monday at 2pm. Nadine Amaya 601-310-9842
Dec. 8, 11:00am Update: Due to snow in Hattiesburg and surrounding areas the League Finals are postponed and will not happen today. Tentative plans are being made to reschedule - with District Approval. As of now the plan is for Monday, Dec. 11 starting at 2pm. Teachers and Mentors, please let your admins know of this possiblity and try to get approval to attend. If you have questions, please text me at 601-310-9842 Nadine Amaya
This league is open to new and inexperienced teams in Lamar and Forrest County. Teams that have many years of experience are encouraged to continue participating in the tournaments that are scheduled in different locations during the season. A maximum of 5 teams per organization/school may register if we have 24 teams participating. If that number is less; the number per organization will have to be adjusted as well. An organization/school is determined based on the number series of the teams registered. If you have any questions about that please give me a call at 601-268-3862, Ext. 4567. If you have addittional teams that would like to be participate in the League, they may be added to the Wait List.
