This will be a qualifying event to send teams to the Ontario Provincial Chamionships.

Team Matchplay will take place on the Saturday.

Practice fields will be available Friday and Saturday

Skills Challenges will take place on Friday and Saturday.

Friday, January 12th, 2018

2pm - doors open, team registration, pits open

3pm - practice field opens, robot inspection starts.

4pm to 8pm - Skills Challenges begin

8 pm - All fields close

8:30pm - pits close, venue closes.

Saturday, January 13th, 2018

8am - pits and practice fields open, inspection continues

9pm - Skills and Team Matchplay begin.

noon to 12:45pm Lunch Break - all fields closed

2pm - final Team Matchplay matches, Skills Challenges end

2:15pm - Alliance Pairings Announced

2:30pm - Playoff round begins

4:00 Playoff Matches End, Final Awards begin

4:30 ; Event concludes

5pm - Pits and venue close

Volunteer

Volunteer signups links will be sent as this process begins - teams will receive these links in late October. Teams wishing to provide volunteers may also contact Jonathan Budau ([email protected]) to add their names and contact information and will be contacted to determine positions to be filled.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

This is winter in Northern Ontario, and travelling teams should plan accordingly. Those arriving from out-of-town should monitor weather and make safe and informed decisions about team travel.

Travelling teams who cannot get to the Sault due to highway conditions will receive a full refund, and if city conditions require the event to be cancelled, all teams will be refunded their event fees (if applicable). If possible, an alternate date will be attempted, but this will be venue-dependent.
