General Info

This event is open to all VEX IQ Teams. 

There will be 2 main fields, a skills field, and 1 practice field. Each team will be allowed up to 6 attempts on the skills field and it will be on a first come, first served bases. The skills field will close before the beginning of the elimination matches.  An announcement will be made at the beginning of the event based on the number of teams competing.

Agenda

Event starts at 8:30 am and will end by 4pm.

  • 8:30a: doors open for registration and check-in
  • 8:45a-10:00a: 3 fields open for skills
  • 8:45a-10:00a STEM judging
  • 10:00a: Check-in and inspection close, 1 field remains open for skills
  • 10:15a: Driver's meeting
  • 10:30a: Matches begin
  • 12:00p: Lunch break (skills fields will remain open)
  • 12:30p: Skills queue closes
  • 12:45p: Matches resume; skills field closes
  • 2:45p: Qualifying ends
  • 3:00p: Finals matches begins
  • 3:30p: Awards

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event we have to cancel due to weather or other unexpected circumstances, refunds will be distributed minus the $5 RECF processing fee.

We will make every attempt to accommodate the majority of participants.  Please call Kim Ringgold and/or check this robotevents page the day of the event with any concerns or questions about the status of the event.

Registered Teams may register to receive up to the minute Text Alertz for this event. 

Refund and Payment Policies

Refunds will be given minus the $5 REC Foundation fee.

Refunds will only be given to teams that notify the organizer by 9:00 am January 18, 2017.
