Arizona VEX IQ Elementary School State Championship

The Arizona VEX IQ Challenge Elementary State Championship has been granted 15 VEX IQ World Championship spots:

Excellence Award = 1 spot

Teamwork Champions = 2 spots

Teamwork 2nd Place = 2 spots

Teamwork 3rd Place = 2 spots

Teamwork 4th Place = 2 spots

Design Award = 1 spot

STEM Research Project Award = 1 spot

Robot Skills = 1 spot

Judges Award =  1 spot

Amaze Award = 1 spot

Think Award = 1 spot

If a team double-qualifies for a World Championship spot, the state’s next highest ranking team from the World Skills Standings up to and including the State Championship receives the invitation. World Championship invitations from the World Skills Standings are offered after the results of the State Championship have been posted at events.vex.com, and will not be announced at the State Championship.

World Championship qualifying awards and invitations are issued to teams whether or not the teams have expressed an intention to attend the event. Unaccepted World Championship invitations are not offered or transferred to other teams.

Due to a limited number of outlets, there will be charging areas where you can set up power strips and charge your equipment as needed.  

You will recieve an email to sign up for STEM Research projects a few weeks before the event. 

We will have concession stands open with food available for purchase throughout the event. There are many fast food restaurants within aa few miles of the venue as well.
