General Info

The Sherman Oaks Center for Enriched Studies welcomes you to the 2017-2018 VEX Robotics game Ringmaster.  We are excited to host tournaments this year and look forward to an exciting event with teams. The event, scheduled for Saturday January 13 th, will take place on the SOCES campus in Glen Hall.  We ask that teams carpool to allow parking for as many attendees as possible.  The event is open to the public at no charge. 

We ask that teams drop off the engineering notebook at the registration table so that the judges have adequate time to look at your hard work in consideration for all awards.   Registration begins at 7:30am and the inspection booth will be available immediately upon arrival to help process the large number of teams participating this year. 

LATE Arrivals

Teams must be checked in 45 minutes prior to the start of the qualification matches so that the match schedule may be printed. Teams must contact the event partner if they are running late or they will be removed from the team list for the event. 

Team Payment

Teams must be paid two weeks prior to the event. Teams not paid at this time may be dropped at the event partner's discretion to allow teams in from the wait list.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the case of bad weather conditions or possible cancellations, please visit the event on events.vex.com where updates about the event status will be posted as needed.  Teams should make sure their contact information is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.

Refund and Payment Policies

Event payments are expected when you register for this event and must be completed (showing PAID in the system) a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the event date.  Unpaid teams will be removed from the event, allowing space for teams on the wait list.  

No refunds will be made once a team is marked PAID in the sysytem.
