General Info
This is an official VEX IQ Challenge (VIQC) Ringmaster tournament hosted by NOVA at the US Patent and Trademark Office. Up to 32 teams will be involved with a maximum of 4 teams per organization. Elementary and Middle School teams will compete together and there will be a separate Elementary School Excellence Award if there are enough teams. Additional teams from an organization may be added to the waitlist for consideration in January.

VIQC Tournament – (2 Fields)
8:00 am – 10:00 am .:. Team Check-in, Inspection & Practice
- Teams must check-in by 9 am, we will then run match schedule
10:00 am - 10:30 am .:. Opening Ceremony and Driver's meeting
- Each team will have up to 2 chances per Skills Challenge
10:30 am - 12:30 pm .:. Qualification Matches (2 per team)

Volunteer
It takes about 50 volunteers to help make the VEX Robotics Competition a fun, exciting and safe learning experience for hundreds of students. Volunteers are needed to help make this event a success. Judges, Referees, general assistance, computer operators are the biggest needs. No experience is necessary to volunteer. Training will be provided on the day of the event.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
NOVA SySTEMic Solutions may choose to cancel this event for inclement weather. We may be affected if the weather comes on the setup day or day of. Please check for updated information on robotevents and our NOVAsystemic Facebook page.
In case of cancellation, a refund of $70 will be mailed to each team and we will contact teams if an alternate date can be found.
Refund and Payment Policies
Payment is due within 30 days of registration or no later than 2 weeks before the event. Teams who don't complete payment will be moved to the waitlist of the event until the issue is resolved.
Refunds are provided for any reason and will be mailed by check of $70 per team upon request via email. Cancellations or no shows after the November 1st, 2017 will not receive a refund except in the case of inclement weather.
