General Info
This is an Official Indiana VEX IQ State Qualifying Event that is scheduled for 2 State Qualification Spots as follows: 2 Teamwork Champions. The Skills Challenge will also be offered.
Full concessions will NOT be available. Our local Girl Scout Troop will be selling cookies, hotdogs, and bottled water for light snacks. There are several restaurants in town: St. James Restaurant, Avilla Pizza and Sub, Testimonies Bakery (coffee/danish), Harlan's Country Kitchen, Subway, and McDonalds.
Participation and Consent:
A completed form for all participants must be turned in during check-in. Team leaders will need to collect the completed forms for all team members attending the event and turn them in to the registration desk when checking in.
The day of registration deadline is 8:45 am, teams not registered by that time will be removed from the event and will not be included in the match list.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Bad Weather Policy:
In case of bad weather conditions or possible cancellations please visit the event on
events.vex.com where I will post updates about the event status as needed in the
General description. Please feel free to contact me by phone 260-446-7929 if you are
going to be late to the event. Match Lists will be generated as scheduled (on agenda)
and cannot be re-run.
Refund and Payment Policies
Payment and Refund Policy:
Event payments are expected when you register for the event and must be completed 3 weeks prior to the event date. Un-paid teams will be removed from the event to allow teams on my wait list to register. Please contact me if there are considerations to be made.
All requests for refunds must be made 3 weeks prior to the event. Refunds if approved will be processed ASAP following the event. Any refund will be minus the $5-dollar team fee.
Day of Event Refund Policy:
Refunds are granted in extreme cases only.
Refunds will be approved on a case by case basis within 2 - 3 weeks of the events completion. Any refund will be minus the $5-dollar team fee.

Travel Info
This event is hosted at Avilla Elementary School. Please let us know if your team will be bringing a bus, so that we can direct you as to where to park. Teams need to enter the building through Door #17 located on the southeast side of the building. Spectators are to enter through Door #15 or #16 located on the side of the building. We are going to keep both the competition and the pit area in our gym. There should be plenty of seating for spectators in the bleachers.
