Volunteer

Those interested in volunteering please contact Ron Bertucci or Nicole Adell.

No experience is required for most of our volunteer positions and we have training sessions available the day of the event. Volunteers should have an interest and ethusiam for robotics!

Volunteers have a flexable schedule. You can volenteer all day, or portions of the day. We will work with your schedule!

A hospitality room will provide food and drink for all volunteers, as well as a place to put your feet up while on break.

If you are interested or if you have parents who are interested in volunteering, please complete THIS FORM. Position assignments will go out the Friday before the tournament.

Most Needed Volunteer Positions: 

Field Queuing - Manage student-competitors who are approaching the field and those on deck.

Field Reset - This person resets the field after each match is scored (a graet youth position)!

Concessions - Manage our snacks, lunches and drinks.

Check In - Welcome teams and get the signed in.

Practice Field - Manage our practice field where students go to try strategies before their matches.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If this event is cancelled due to inclement weather it will be promptly rescheduled for the next available Saturday in December.

Coaches will receive an e-mail through robotevents.

Refund and Payment Policies

Teams must cancel at least 1 week before the event to be refunded. No refunds will be given after that.

If a team who has paid their entry fee through Robotevents requests a refund; we must receive the funds from Robotevents (minus 10%) before the refund can be issued. In some cases it can take 3-6 months to receive refunds.

Teams that cannot attend a rescheduled event, due to bad weather can be refunded upon request. Please allow 6 weeks.
