General Info
We are happy to announce that the Mississippi VEX IQ Challenge State Championship will be held at the University of Southern Mississippi this year. We look forward to seeing you Saturday, March 2, 2019 for an exciting day of competition.
***Please note: In order to hold a successful event, ALL registrations must be paid within 3 weeks of qualifying. If payment is not received within 3 weeks, your team will be waitlisted and your spot given to another team.
If a team double-qualifies for a World Championship spot, the state’s next highest ranking team from the World Skills Standings up to and including the State Championship receives the invitation. World Championship invitations from the World Skills Standings are issued by email after the results of the State Championship have been posted at events.vex.com, and will not be announced at the State Championship.
World Championship qualifying awards and invitations are issued to teams whether or not the teams have expressed an intention to attend the event. Unaccepted World Championship invitations are not offered or transferred to other teams.
STEM Research Projects
***Must submit URL to [email protected] by Friday, February 22 at 3:00 pm. No late entries will be accepted.
To upload videos:
- Sign in to YouTube.
- At the top of the page, click Upload
.
- Select Upload video.
- Before you start uploading the video, you can choose the video privacy settings.
- Select the video you'd like to upload from your computer. You can also import a video from Google Photos.
- As the video is uploading, you can edit both the basic information and the advanced settings of the video and decide if you want to notify subscribers (if you uncheck this option, no communication will be shared with your subscribers). Partners will also be able to adjust their Monetization settings. You can have a title up to 100 characters and a description up to 5,000 characters.
- Click Publish to finish uploading a public video to YouTube. If you set the video privacy setting to Private or Unlisted, just click Done to finish the upload or click Share to privately share your video.
- If you haven’t clicked Publish, your video won’t be viewable by other people. You can always publish your video at a later time in your Video Manager.
Once the upload is completed YouTube will send you an email to notify you that your video is done uploading and processing. You can then forward this email to [email protected]. If you prefer not to receive notification, you can opt out by visiting your email settings.
