General Info

This tournament is sponsored by Apache Behavioral Health Services in cooperation with the Whiteriver Unified School District and Theodore Roosevelt School (TR).  This is an early chance to quailfy for state or practice your skills for tournaments later in this season. It will be held in the facilities of TR on the grounds of the historic Fort Apache.  Fort Apache is located 80 miles North of Globe or 25 miles South of Pinetop, Arizona at the base of the White Mountains of Northern Arizona.  Occasionally snow falls in the White Mountains by this time of the year, but don't worry:  Ft Apache is ony 5,056 feet and the weather should be great!  You will enjoy competing with the friendly people of the White Mountain Apache Tribe and see numerous historic buildings from the early twentieth century as well as ruins from the 13th and 14th centuries if you choose.

8:00 a.m. - Doors Open – Team check-in, submit consent forms 

8:30 a.m. - Inspection, Skills, Submit Notebooks, Judging Interview

                 STEM Presentations are electronic and judges will collect starting at 9:00 am and be completed by 1:00 pm

9:00 a.m. – Skills challenges

10:00 a.m. - Inspection Closes, Driver Meeting

10:30 a.m. - Qualification Matches, Judging

12:00 p.m. - Lunch

1:00 p.m. - Qualification Matches, Judging

3:00 p.m. Finals Matches

3:30 p.m. Awards

4:00 p.m. Team load out

Volunteer

All volunteers are welcome.  The sponsoring organization will provide many individuals experienced form last year's competitions but the more the merrier.  Contact Rodney Clause at 928 245 0563 if you have someone wanting to help; however, we want everyone to enjoy the experience here at Fort Apache.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Any team unable to make it to the tournament due to inclimate weather or other unforseen event will have all fees refunded.

Refund and Payment Policies

Any registered team unable to attend due to inclimate weather or any other unforseen event will have their full fee refunded when requested minus the $5.00 RobotEvents fee.
